These illustrations are background designs for the interactive story book app “George and the Ice Cream Castle”. This is the first in a series of stories based around George's adventures.

 

The app was produced by Charlie & Wolf, a new company in the field of app development, and I was hired as the art designer and animator.

 

In the app, these scenes feature animated characters and props so it was important to keep in mind how they would interact with the background when designing.
